Terms and Conditions

Participants must be in good physical health, understand the inherent risks of a mountain tour with hiking, be able to follow instructions from the guide, have the minimum fitness level required to get in and out of the passenger van multiple times throughout the tour and to move around as necessary. Participants who choose to hike in addition to the above should have the fitness level to walk along the designated trails a minimum distance and duration and return safely. 

All participants are required to read and sign the PARTICIPANT RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT prior to booking.

In addition, Participants must agree to the following rules and disclaimers:

No smoking anything.

Participants may not bring or use illegal/controlled substances or consume alcoholic beverages while riding in the tour vehicle or on the hike, or show up intoxicated.

Participants will abide by the rules of the US National Forests.

Above and Beyond L.A. Tours reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries, fares, days of operation or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur. Other accredited tour operators may be used on some tours.

Cancellation Policy: Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. Cancellation within 48 hours of departure or failure to board will result in full fare forfeiture.  Above and Beyond L.A. Tours will not be held responsible for passengers failing to familiarize themselves with the booking terms and conditions.

Child Policy:  Children are permitted on most tours, however due to the nature and length of tours, it may not be recommended. Please check with reservations for recommendations. Children rates are available for ages of 0 - 12 years.  Due to limited luggage restrictions, strollers are not permitted on tour.

Luggage Policy: There are no luggage storage facilities, please do not bring your luggage with you. Luggage may be stored with your accommodation provider for the day. Any inappropriate luggage presented on the departure day (including strollers) may result in refusal to board.

Privacy Policy:  By booking a tour with Above and Beyond L.A. Tours you are agreeing that we may contact you in relation to feedback about a tour which you have undertaken with us or one of our affiliates. Above and Beyond L.A. Tours may contact you via email in relation to specials or promotional offers. In the event you do not wish to receive any correspondence from us, please select the easy opt out button to discontinue any communication. 

Pick Up and Drop Off Services: Above and Beyond L.A. Tours may offer complimentary inner city pickup and drop off services to various accommodation providers. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to be waiting out the front of your selected pickup location (accommodation provider) at least 10 minutes before departure. Failure to wait out the front of your selected location may result in the tour guide being unable to locate you, causing failure to load.  Above and Beyond L.A. Tours cannot be held responsible for passengers who fail to load.
