What should I bring?

For the Sunset Tour, please wear comfortable shoes and clothing, appropriate for walking.  Bring water, sunscreen, hat and snacks, according to your typical needs for a day in the sun.   Days can be hot and evenings can be chilly, wearing layers is advised.

For the Summit Tour we recommend hiking boots, backpack with water, snacks and sunscreen,  hat and sunglasses.

Please do not bring pets, they can't come with us.

How strenuous are the hikes?

In general, the hikes are considered mild to moderate, suitable for people of all ages and all fitness levels.  Some may choose to hike longer and farther than others and some may choose not to hike at all.  All can enjoy the outdoors in a beautiful mountain setting at one's own pace.

We welcome seniors and will customize the experience as necessary.

Are there bathrooms?

There are facilities at most stops, nothing fancy though!

Is there WiFi?

We currently do not offer WiFi and cell service is very limited in the National Forests.  Guides carry a satellite phone for emergency use only.

What if I get motion sickness?

If you are prone to motion sickness, there is a chance you could experience it while traveling on the winding mountain roads.   We'll make every effort to make the ride comfortable and enjoyable for all, but if you are worried about it, please bring your preventative remedies and plan accordingly.
